Our center offers yoga classes throughout the week:

  • Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday from 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

  • Friday from 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

  • Sunday from 6:30 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. We offer classes by collective or individual subscription

The benefits of yoga on the mind: contentment

     Above all, more than a sporting practice, yoga is a special moment dedicated to oneself, a break offered to relax and create moments of serenity on a daily basis. All yoga aims to relax the body to calm the mind, and thus achieve meditation (meditation is often practiced at the end of the session, in different forms). The objective of a yoga class is not to follow the rhythm of a group but to reclaim your own rhythm. So there’s no point comparing yourself to others! Rather, we are here to learn to connect with our breath, to become one with it, to know and accept our mental and bodily limits.

Having a better awareness of your body means starting to understand your emotions and channel them better. So, taking up yoga means taking time and gaining self-confidence.

Contentment or santosha is the ability to access a positive mind. Concretely, during a yoga session, contentment translates into the satisfaction of going further, of surpassing oneself in a posture, of progressing and of becoming aware of it in this present moment. This surpassing allows us to develop the mind, to better understand and cope with the small difficulties of everyday life.

Reduce feelings of stress

Positive consequence of deep breathing and meditation practiced in yoga: improved concentration. Yoga allows you to breathe better, stay focused and therefore relieve nervous tension. Concentrating on breathing and balance postures, which require stability and grounding, means focusing on the present moment, here and now, and ignoring what surrounds us. This distance established from everyday life helps us take a step back from our worries or our blockages and leaves room for the feeling of letting go.
